Experienced Accountant
As an experienced Accountant at 4ITEGO Group, you will play a key role in further professionalizing our finance department. With your expertise, you’ll ensure smooth handling of accounting and reporting tasks, while actively contributing to process optimization. You’ll be working in a dynamic and international environment, dealing with Belgian, Dutch, and French accounting standards. Your mission
- Ensure accurate and efficient handling of day-to-day accounting, including processing invoices, bank statements, and various journal entries such as accruals, depreciation, and payroll.
- Work closely with our team either at our office in Ledegem or from our hub in Merelbeke.
- Carry out monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and prepare balance sheets, P&L statements, and management reports.
- Prepare and process VAT returns and support corporate tax filings.
- Collaborate with auditors and support internal controls and audits by providing the necessary documentation.
- Actively participate in projects aimed at optimizing and streamlining financial processes and systems, such as ERP implementation.
Your superpowers
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field – or have equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as an accountant with full responsibility from A to Z.
- Strong knowledge of BE GAAP. Familiarity with NL and/or FR GAAP is a plus.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
